All Licensees
Subsequent renewals are valid for 2 years.
36 hours of continuing education is required to be submitted to the Division.
At least 18 of the required 36 hours must be taken through live instruction.

Salesperson
The education requirement for a salesperson is as follows:
3 hours Agency
6 hours Contracts
3 hours Ethics
3 hours Law & Legislation
3 hours Risk Reduction
18 Hours General (Business Broker permit holders must include the 3 hours of CE for permit renewal; Property Management permit holders must include 9 hours of CE for permit renewal)

Broker/Broker-Salesperson
The education requirement is as follows:
3 hours Agency
6 hours Contracts
3 hours Ethics
3 hours Law & Legislation
3 hours Risk Reduction
6 hours Broker Management
12 Hours General (Business Broker permit holders must include the 3 hours of CE for permit renewal; Property Management permit holders must include 9 hours of CE for permit renewal)

Licensees who are 65 or older and have been licensed in Nevada for 30 years or more
Licensees who are 65 years or older and have been licensed in Nevada in good standing for 30 years or more may apply for an exemption to complete a reduced number of CE credits required for renewal:

Business Broker Permit Holder
3 hours of Business Broker Continuing Education.
Property Management Permit Holder
9 hours of Property Management Continuing Education.

Packages
Most of our continuing education packages include all required topics (Agency, Legislative Update, Contracts, Ethics, Risk Reduction and Broker Management). Our courses will satisfy the statutory topics and the maximum number of hours that can be completed by distance education. After completing our package, a licensee will also need to attend a live classroom course for 50% of the hours. The live classroom coursework must be approved by the Real Estate Commission, but can be any topic, since the designated topics will already be satisfied with these packages.

Our courses are completely automated. Read the course, pass a final, print a certificate....all on the same page.

Since the property management permit education continuing education course requirement increased to 9 hours, packages state whether that is included.
