Repossessions/Foreclosures/REO's: Nevada has a high percentage of foreclosed homes.  Some brokerages specialize in working with the financial institutions.  Some brokerages specialize in working with investors that purchase the homes.  Some brokerages specialize in 'short sales', selling the properties for less than their mortgage amount when their value is less than their mortgage amount.

Auctions: Some Nevada real estate brokerages auction the foreclosed properties.  It usually involves an auctioneer and a brokerage firm.
